This meme is hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer the following three questions in a post. Then, put a link to that post in the comments over at Taking on a World of Words.
The questions include:
1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading –
We started ‘Godblind’ by Anna Stephens yesterday! We didn’t get the chance to read much of it yesterday. This is not the kind of book that we normally read however, after reading the reviews from fellow bloggers we are just so excited to get into it!
We actually haven’t really had the chance to read many novels that have Gods as characters so we are hoping that we really enjoy it! We will leave a link to the book’s synopsis here.
Recently Finished –
We recently finished reading ‘Fallen Flame’ by J.M. Miller, which was an ebook from Netgalley. We were honestly just so caught off guard by this novel as it was just filled with so much action and plenty of surprises!
We weren’t quite sure about this novel going into it as we thought it was going to be very similar to many YA fantasy novels that we have read before. We are just so glad we picked it up! The plot and characters were just so unique and intriguing. We would definitely recommend this novel by J.M. Miller.

We also read ‘A Monster Calls’ by Patrick Ness. We have recently published our review of this novel so we won’t go into much detail about our thoughts. However, the idea of this novel was just such a beautiful idea!
Although it was simple, it was also very powerful and surreal at the same time! We really enjoyed the hints of magical realism throughout the novel! This novel definitely taught us a lot!

Reading Next –
Our next read that we are hoping to pick up soon is ‘The Ones That Disappeared’ by Zana Fraillon. We received this novel from Hachette Australia last month so we just can’t wait to start this novel! ❤️ Link to book synopsis here.
How has your reading week been?
~ Georgia & Morgan.
I love fantasy! For some reason I have not been reading much of it lately (notable exception being Roar) but it is where my heart is! I just started in on Wicked and have been loving it.
