Review:

“Break my heart, break it a thousand times if you like. It was only ever yours to break anyway”.

As we continue on with our re-read of ‘The Selection’ series, we can once again say that we have absolutely fallen in love with this gorgeous series! The storyline, plot and characters are just really entertaining!

So, our thoughts haven’t really changed even though this is our second time rereading19198642_654612694732129_1766633237_n.jpg ‘The One’ by Kiera Cass. This book just wrecked us! Our heart’s just broke. This series was so captivating! ‘The One’ was like a roller coaster ride, it was definitely our favourite book by far within this series! 😊.

Charming Maxon just made our hearts flutter! He will honestly stay in our hearts and minds forever! (Sorry! Fangirling moment!) ❤️.

Kiera Cass never manages to refrain from amazing us! Rereading this mesmerizing series obviously increased our love and praise for ‘The Selection’. This amazing plot was just so exciting and packed with action! We loved the new character developments and we loved reading about America’s growth in how she managed to believe in herself more. At first, as a character, she seemed annoying but as she finally chose a side in an irritating love triangle, we learned to really appreciate her more. It was very refreshing!

Despite her many flaws, we really enjoyed America as a character. She never ceased to surprise us! We can honestly say that we will always be a fan of Kiera’s writing style. Her writing is so full of depth and emotion. This left us devouring the words within the pages of her books 📚.

When the series was originally a trilogy, we thought that ‘The One’ was the perfect ending to the characters story. Even though we knew we would always be hungry for more! We were so happy with the overall winner of The Selection, we just love the incredibly lucky woman who stole the heart of the prince! It was a long and exciting ride however, it was so worth it!

We can barely manage to express just how much we loved this series! Towards the end of the book, there were a couple of scenes where we just couldn’t control our emotions!

*We just died towards the end, if you’ve read this series you will know exactly what we mean!*

We recommend this series as it is just so addicting. We can’t wait to continue our re-read with ‘The Heir’ and ‘The Crown’ next month! Our hearts broke the first time we finished this series so we just knew that we would need to have a re-read.

If you haven’t read this series, what are you waiting for!
