May 2017 – Book Haul

Welcome back!

These are the books that we received in April. We received some of these books from publishers and others we purchased ourselves. Let’s get into it!

Begin, End, Begin: A #LoveOzYA Anthology

We have wanted to pick this up for a little while now and when we finally purchased it, we were so overjoyed. We can’t wait to start reading it for our June TBR!

‘Truthwitch’ by Susan Dennard

We received this as a gift. Thank you so much to our friend Grace for giving this to us. We’ve heard that this series is amazing so we are planning on purchasing the rest of this series!

‘Flame in the Mist’ by Renee Ahdieh and ‘Caraval’ by Stephani Garber –

We picked both of these up recently as we were so excited for ‘Flame in the Mist’ as it’s related around a Mulan re-telling and folklore. We have heard so many great reviews of ‘Caraval’ so we decided to purchase this book too! 😊

Other books that we purchased:

-‘Court of Wings and Ruin’ by Sarah J Maas.

‘Lord of Shadows’ by Cassandra Clare – So keen for this read!

-‘The Rest of Us Just Live Here’ by Patrick Ness.

Thank you to Walker Books Australia for sending us a copy of ‘Finding Nevo’ by Nevo Zisin,

The Moonlight Dreamers’ by Siobhan Curham and ‘Pointe, Claw’ by Amber, J. Keyser to review.

We also received ‘Charlie Presumed Dead’ by Anne Heltzel, ‘Laurinda’ by Alice Pung and ‘Nona & Me’ by Clare Atkins from the lovely people from Black Inc to review.

Thank you also to Baker Publishing for sending us a copy of ‘Recruits’ by Thomas Locke to review.

What books did you haul this May? Let us know in the comments!
